Intern – Green energy trade association

Intern required for one to three month placement at well respected, green energy trade association, The Combined Heat and Power Association. Based in Victoria, London, you will be assisting the Association’s Communications Manager and its Research and Membership Manager.

The role would suit someone looking to gain experience in: environmental issues, the energy sector, PR and public affairs. The placement will involve a range of tasks: - In-depth research on a range of energy/political/media issues - Writing material for media and other audiences - Attendance at sector events - Contacting association members Whilst the internship will be on a voluntary basis, the Association will cover expenses. There may be the potential of some paid work, but no guarantess can be provided. An emphasis will be placed on ensuring the successful applicant gets the most out of the placement and gains valuable experience as a result. The placement would suit a recent graduate or someone looking to switch into the energy/environment sector. It is scheduled to start from Wednesday 17 or 24 February, or later if needs be, depending on availability of the selected candidate. The length of the placement is also flexible, again depending on circumstance, but will be for a minimum period of one month, to a maximum of three.
